The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Notification. Candidates who wish to pursue Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor, or Ph.D. admission can apply online between 25th September 2025 and 24th October 2025. The examination will be held on 18th December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria – CSIR UGC NET December 2025
Educational Qualification
- General/EWS: Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks.
- OBC (NCL), SC, ST, PwD, Third Gender: Master’s degree with minimum 50% marks.
- Appearing Candidates: Final year Master’s students can apply provisionally.
Age Limit
- JRF: Maximum age 30 years.
- Relaxation: Up to 5 years for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, Third gender, and women candidates.
- Assistant Professor & Ph.D. Admission: No upper age limit.

Exam Pattern – CSIR UGC NET December 2025
The exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 3 hours with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It has three parts: Part A (General Aptitude), Part B (Subject-related), and Part C (Analytical/Research-based).
