East Coast Railway GDCE Vacancy 2026 Overview

Selection will be based on a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by Aptitude Test or Skill Test where applicable, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

- Negative Marking: 1/3rd of allotted marks deducted for every incorrect response in CBT. No negative marking in CBAT.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT: UR – 40%, OBC-NCL – 30%, SC – 30%, ST – 25% (2% relaxation for PwBD candidates in case of shortage).
- Shortlisting ratio for CBAT/Typing Test: 8 times the number of category vacancies.
- ALP Final Merit Weightage: 50% CBT score + 50% CBAT score.
- Station Master Final Merit Weightage: 70% CBT score + 30% CBAT score.
