Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

• Date of Birth: Candidates must be born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit on enrolment date is 22 years.
• Marital Status: Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
• Educational Qualification: Passed Matriculation / 10th or equivalent with minimum passing marks from any recognized School/Board.
• Musical Proficiency: Proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch, ability to perform preparatory tunes, notations (Staff notation, Tablature, Tonic Solfa, Hindustani, Carnatic, etc.), tuning instruments, and matching unknown notes. Proficiency in playing any instrument from List A or List B is mandatory.

Physical & Medical Standards

• Height (Male): Minimum 162 cms.
• Height (Female): Minimum 152 cms (Relaxation to 147 cms for North East / hilly regions of Uttarakhand, and 150 cms for Lakshadweep).
• Chest: Minimum 77 cms with at least 5 cms expansion for males; well-proportioned with 5 cms expansion for females.
• Visual Standards: 6/12 each eye correctable to 6/6 each eye, with specific limits for hypermetropia, myopia, and astigmatism. Colour vision must be CP-II.
