Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • Super Specialist Medical Officer (Second-in-Command): MBBS degree or equivalent qualification recognized under NMC/MCI, registration with State Medical Register/NMC, completion of compulsory rotating internship, Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in relevant specialty, and Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) or equivalent with minimum 3 years of post-PG experience in the concerned super-specialty.
  • Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant): Recognized Medical Qualification (Allopathic System) registered with MCI/NMC/State Council, completion of compulsory internship, PG Degree/Diploma in the relevant specialty with 1.5 years experience after PG Degree or 2.5 years experience after PG Diploma.
  • Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant): Recognized Allopathic Medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) with NMC/MCI/State registration and completion of rotating internship. Candidates undergoing internship are eligible provided internship finishes before actual appointment.
