Overview — What is UKMSSB Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025?

Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has released a recruitment notification inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 587 regular Nursing Officer posts. Educational Qualification 

To be eligible for the Nursing Officer posts candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• B.Sc Nursing (Regular) / B.Sc Nursing (Honours)
• Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
• General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) / Midwifery / Psychiatric Nursing Diploma

Registration with either the Uttarakhand Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council (as applicable) is mandatory. Additionally, candidates should have working knowledge of Hindi.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Age limit (as on 01-07-2025) and category-wise relaxations are provided below:

• General age range for posts: 21 to 42 years
• SC/ST of Uttarakhand: +5 years
• OBC of Uttarakhand: +5 years
• Persons with Disability (PwD): +10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per rules

Selection Process & Exam Pattern 

The selection will be made based on a written examination carrying 200 marks. The exam is divided into two equal sections. Candidates should note that negative marking is applicable.

• SC / ST / PwD (Uttarakhand): ₹150
