Union Bank of India has officially released the detailed recruitment notification for 395 vacancies under the Union Bank Recruitment Project 2026-27. This recruitment drive aims to fill various positions across General Banking Officers and Specialist Officers in multiple streams, including Information Technology, Risk Management, Chartered Accountant, Law Officers, Forex Officers, Cyber Security, Data Science, and Engineering. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications starting from 21st July 2026 through the bank’s official portal.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must ensure they fulfill the age, qualification, and work experience criteria specified as on the respective cut-off dates.

1. Age Limit (As on 01/07/2026)

• Scale II (Manager): Minimum 22 Years, Maximum 30–35 Years (Post-wise)
• Scale III (Senior Manager): Minimum 25 Years, Maximum 35–38 Years (Post-wise)
• Scale IV (Chief Manager): Maximum 40 Years
• Scale V (Assistant General Manager): Maximum 45 Years
• Scale VI (Deputy General Manager): Maximum 50 Years

Upper Age Relaxation:

• Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 Years
• Other Backward Classes (OBC Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen / Commissioned Officers: 5 Years
• Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 Years

Selection Process and Examination Pattern

The selection process varies depending on the scale and cadre of the post:

• Posts up to Scale III: May comprise an Online Written Examination, Group Discussion (if conducted), and Personal Interview.
• Posts in Scale IV, V, and VI: May comprise Shortlisting / Group Discussion / Assessment and Personal Interview.

Note: Tests 1, 2, and 3 for General Banking Officers are qualifying in nature. There is a penalty of 25% (1/4th) marks for wrong answers in the online test. Personal Interview carries 100 marks with minimum qualifying marks of 50 for General/EWS and 45 for Reserved Categories.

4. Choose “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE” and then click “Click here for New Registration”.
5. Fill in basic personal details, valid mobile number, and email ID to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
6. Complete the application form with personal, educational, and professional experience details.
7. Upload scanned photograph (20kb-50kb), signature (10kb-20kb), left thumb impression (20kb-50kb), and hand-written declaration (50kb-100kb).
8. Verify all entered information carefully using the ‘Preview’ tab before final submission.
9. Proceed to the payment tab and pay the application fee online.
10. Download and print the completed online application form and payment e-receipt for future record.
